Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to perform delegated clinical and administrative duties across the practice, supporting physicians and frontline staff in both clinical and front office functions.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED plus a Medical Assistant training program, CMA/NCMA/RMA certification, and may have experience with electronic health records or phlebotomy. This is an hourly position with competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED and completion of a Medical Assistant training program.
• Or CMA equivalent: at least 6 months experience in CMA role or on-the-job training.
• Certification: CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NCCT/NHA/NRCMA from approved agencies.

Responsibilities

• Performs delegated clinical and administrative duties in line with Medical Assistant education and training.
