Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus completion of a Medical Assistant program.
• Certification from CMA/CCMA/RMA/NCMA or other approved MA credential.
• 6 months CMA experience or equivalent on-the-job training/education in CMA role.

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated clinical and administrative duties as trained for Medical Assistant practice.
• Provide clerical support and assist in delivering health care and patient care activities.
• Work in clinical and front office settings under the physician/provider direction.
