CommonSpirit Health seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Houston care team. The CMA will support clinical procedures, take vital signs, assist with screenings, provide patient education, and handle administrative tasks to coordinate care for diverse patient populations.

We value strong clinical knowledge, technological fluency, compassion, and teamwork. A range of CMA certifications and CPR within 30 days are required, with on-site collaboration and ongoing learning encouraged.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required at hire.
• CMA certifications (AAMA/NHA/NCCT/AMT/NAHP/MMCI) required at hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) within 30 days of start.
• May perform phlebotomy and administer medications per protocol as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Perform general patient care following established standards and procedures.
• Greet and prepare patients for the healthcare provider.
• Record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, allergies, and medications.
• Collect blood samples and prepare specimens for lab analysis.
• Administer medications and vaccines via oral, injection, topical, rectal, ophthalmic, and inhalant routes.
• Assist with routine tests such as EKGs.
