Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of Medical Assistant experience in a clinic/outpatient setting or one year in the Novice-II position.
• BLS certification is required; CMA/MA or EMT certification is required or in progression.
• CPT certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient examinations, procedures, and diagnostic studies.
• Support providers in patient care under supervision.
• Schedule patient appointments and verify eligibility for care.
• Maintain clinical documentation and medical records in EMR with accuracy.
