Qualifications

• Must possess CMA certification or equivalent credentials.
• Knowledge of clinical procedures and patient care standards.
• Ability to obtain consent, educate patients, and coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Perform general patient care following established standards.
• Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider.
• Record vital signs: BP, temp, pulse, resp, height, weight, allergies, meds.
• May draw blood and prepare specimens for labs.
• Administer medications and vaccines as ordered by clinicians.
• May perform routine tests including EKGs.
