Job summary

The CMA ambulatory care tech will structure the patient flow in examination and treatment areas under physician direction.

Qualifications

• Current certification as CMA or NJ license permitting injections.
• Must be computer proficient.
• BLS (CPR) from AHA or Red Cross.
• Experience with intramuscular and subcutaneous techniques.

Responsibilities

• Maintain timely and organized patient flow in Ambulatory Care.
• Prepare patients including interview and screening for history, meds, vitals.
• Document encounters in the EMR.
• Notify provider of abnormal vitals.
