Job summary

St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support ambulatory care providers, prepare exams, collect specimens, and document in the electronic health record.

You will interview patients, take vital signs, assist with procedures, and help with front desk tasks such as scheduling and billing. A credentialed CMA and a high school diploma are required, with 1+ year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant from approved organizations.
• High School Diploma required.
• 1+ year of MA experience in a Physician's office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Show patients to exam room, interview patients, measure vital signs and document in EHR.
• Accurately assess patient symptoms and record data in medical records.
• Take labs, prepare for pickup, and coordinate with labs/procedures.
• Set up exam room and assist with procedures as directed by clinician.
• Assist front desk duties: reception, medical records, scheduling and billing.
