Schedule: Part Time, 24 hours a week
Shift: Wednesdays 12:00pm - 8:00pm, Thursdays 12:00pm - 6:00pm and Fridays 7:30am - 5:00pm, w/1-2 Saturdays a month 7:30am - 2:15pm, off on Thursday when working a Saturday

The role you’ll contribute:
Administrative duties:
Use computer applications, including EMR, Microsoft Word, and Excel
Answer telephone calls
Update and file patient medical records
Check in patients
Schedule appointments
Clinical duties:
Escort patients to testing and exam rooms, measure vital signs and record all information in patient’s chart
Collect and prepare laboratory specimens
Perform phlebotomy; prepare and administer vaccinations as directed by a physician
Explain testing to patients
Obtain all test results for each patient, and alert physician of abnormal results
Perform other related duties, as assigned or requested
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Must be currently certified and maintain certification by one of the following:
American Association of Medical Assistants (“AAMA”) for Certified Medical Assistants (CMA)
American Medical Technologists (“AMT”) for Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
National Center for Competency Testing (“NCCT”) for National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
National Healthcareer Association (NHA) for Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
American Registry of Medical Assistants ("ARMA") for Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
