Qualifications

• Completion of nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or relevant work experience and certification as a Registered Medical Assistant.
• Certification from a nationally recognized organization (AAMA, NHA, NCCT or AMT) or must obtain within 6 months of hire.
• BLS or ACLS certification or must obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supply ordering and tracking; manage MA box work for productivity.
• Timely rooming of patients; taking vital signs and history; immunizations and screenings.
• Prepare exam rooms; assist with procedures and minor surgeries as needed.
• Document results; communicate with providers; ensure timely follow-up on tests and results.
• Maintain clean, stocked work areas and adherence to safety and HIPAA regulations.
