Job summary

Sentara Medical Group is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for SMG Clinical Administration in a hybrid remote role based in Virginia Beach, VA. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a full-time status.

Base hourly pay ranges from $21.69 to $32.14, with potential for bonuses and additional compensation. Requirements include a High school diploma, active CMA/CCMA/RMA or NREMT-Basic, and BLS within 90 days.

Overview

Sentara Medical Group is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Certified Medical Assistant for SMG Clinical Administration.

Position Status : Full Time, Days

Position Location : This is a hybrid remote position in Virginia Beach, VA.

Standard Working Hours : Monday - Friday, 8am -4:30pm

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Certification/Licensure

Active CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic (Required)

BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Experience

One year of clinical or administrative experience

One year experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $21.69 - $32.14 hourly.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
