Responsibilities

• Patient triage, perform injections, EKGs and phlebotomy
• Perform point of care testing (strep, influenza, COVID-19, mono, urine pregnancy, urinalysis)
• Dispense medications, perform other treatments
• Assist providers with procedures as needed
• Perform employer services (drug and alcohol testing, respirator fit testing, pulmonary function tests and more)
• Complete daily laboratory quality controls
• Complete patient call backs
• Register patients, answer the phone and other administrative tasks

Qualifications

• Certified or registered as a Medical Assistant
• 3+ years of Medical Assisting experience
• Team player and ability to multitask
• Dependable and able to work all scheduled shifts
• Flexibility in scheduling is a must; able to work weekday shifts (8am – 8pm) and weekend shifts (8am – 5pm)
• Considerate making each patient feel welcomed and special
• Proficient in both verbal and written communication, possessing a clear, professional, friendly and positive demeanor

Compensation

$23.00 - $28.00 per hour
