Job summary

Forefront Dermatology in Santa Cruz, CA seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support dermatology visits, room patients, and assist with procedures in a fast-paced clinic.

The ideal candidate has CMA or RN license preferred, at least 1 year in medical office, strong EMR/computer skills, and the ability to multi-task and work well with a team.

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Post High School Education In a Medical Support Field

Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse is strongly preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred
• Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations to continue employment
• Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems
• Must possess organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team

For this position, the base pay range is $26 - $28 per hour. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education, certification, or training.
