UIW is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide patient care in an ambulatory setting under physician supervision. The CMA works as part of a team with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and students, handling scheduling, notes, and billing within the EMR.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year CMA experience in primary care with Women's Health, proper CMA certification, and BLS. Tuberculosis screening and immunization proof are required.

The position works as part of a team with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and students in the health professions. The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) reports to the Office Manager, Health Services.
Note that this position requires Tuberculosis screening as well as proof of immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis through lab confirmation of immunity, documented evidence of vaccination, or a doctor's diagnosis of disease.
High school graduate or GED equivalent.
One (1) year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant in primary care with Women's Health.
Typical Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.
