Job summary

Sentara Health Plans in Edenton, NC seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support patient care and front/back office tasks. Monday–Friday, 40 hours, days shift; new grads welcome to apply and a $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include performing clinical tasks under supervision, patient preparation, and administrative duties while maintaining safety and compliance with practice policies. Mileage reimbursement is provided where needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required on first day of employment.
  • Certified Medical Assistant or equivalent certification required on first day.
  • Experience with phlebotomy and basic patient care preferred.
