Job summary

DelRicht Research in Hendersonville, TN seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical trials across multiple sites. You will help ensure patients have a positive experience, complete visits accurately, and assist with enrollment and data entry.

The role prefers CMA/RMA/CCMA or RN/LPN licensure, prior patient-facing healthcare exposure, and on-site interactions. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, with 20% flex to the Smyrna clinic.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional experience in a medical/clinical environment.
• Preferred CMA/RMA/CCMA or RN/LPN license.
• Preferred B.S./B.A. from an accredited university.
• Preferred patient-facing or healthcare position experience.
• Preferred on-site, customer-facing role experience.
• Coffee drinkers preferred. Tea drinkers accepted.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patients have a fun, positive and comfortable experience throughout their time in our clinic.
• Complete patient visits accurately and efficiently, with adherence to clinical trial protocols.
• Drive patient enrollment and retention activities with focus and follow-through.
• Perform intramuscular (IM) injections safely and accurately.
• Enter clinical data accurately and on time across medical record systems and platforms.
• Lead and be the main contact for Pharmaceutical Sponsors and CROs for all trials.
• Ensure sponsors receive excellent on-site service and maintain clear communication off-site.
• Provide timely physician updates on patients and protocol changes.

Certified Medical Assistant’s Main Objective:

• Patients have a fun, positive and comfortable experience throughout their time in our clinic
• Patient visits are completed accurately and efficiently, with 100% adherence to clinical trial protocols
• Patient enrollment and retention activities are executed with focus and follow-through
• Perform intramuscular (IM) injections safely and accurately
• Clinical data is entered accurately and on time across various medical record systems and platforms
• Lead and main point of contact for Pharmaceutical Sponsors and Contract Research Organizations for all clinical trials
• Ensuring sponsors and clients have amazing customer service when they are onsite at our clinic and assuring we are always providing clear, constant communication with them when they are off site
• Physicians receive timely patient and protocol updates that reinforce confidence in the site tea

Skills needed to win:

• Required: 1+ of professional experience, ideally in a medical or clinical environment
• Preferred: Active medical assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) or nursing (VN, LPN, or RN) license
• Preferred: B.S. or B.A. from an accredited university
• Preferred: Professional experience in a patient-facing or healthcare position
• Preferred: Experience in an on-site, customer-facing role
• Coffee drinkers preferred. Tea drinkers accepted.
