Job summary

Casper Dermatology is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our full-time team and support the dermatologist during patient visits. You will room patients, document vital information, and assist with procedures in a fast-paced dermatology setting.

The role requires travel to our Douglas clinic 1–2 days weekly, with a Monday–Friday schedule and comprehensive benefits, including health, vision, dental, PTO, and insurance options.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred
• Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations to continue employment
• Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems
• Must possess organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and documents all vital information
• Scribing information for the dermatologist
• Providing post op wound care to patients
• Drawing blood and suture removal
• Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Assisting the dermatologist with procedures such as biopsies, Mohs surgery, phototherapy, injections, and related techniques

High School Diploma or equivalent

Post High School education in a medical support field:
