Job summary

Avance Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a busy clinical team in Charlotte, NC. The role supports one provider, ensuring efficient patient flow and quality care.

Responsibilities include patient triage, administering vaccines, recording data, and assisting with exams. Candidates should have CMA/CCMA/RMA/EMT certification and at least one year of MA experience, with bilingual abilities highly preferred.

Selected Responsibilities:

• Escort patients to and from exam/treatment rooms
• Triage patients as necessary
• Administer vaccines and injections
• Record patient data prior to the physician's visit
• Assist physicians with exams and a wide variety of procedures
• Administer medications
• Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and order supplies as needed
• Maintain proper disinfection protocolsComplete prior authorizations for medications and diagnostic imaging
• Phone in prescriptions and distribute proper medications as ordered by the provider

Candidates should preferably have one of the following certifications: CMA, CCMA, RMA, or EMT, along with at least one year of Medical Assistant experience.
