Ascension St. Vincent's Cardiology Brunswick is seeking a Medical Assistant to prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians with procedures. You will record vital signs and histories, and keep treatment rooms stocked and ready.

This full-time role in Brunswick, GA requires BLS certification within 30 days, a Medical Assistant credential, and a high school diploma or equivalent (or 1 year of related experience). Comprehensive benefits accompany the position.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Perform essential clerical duties, such as answering phones, filing, and maintaining patient records.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
