Forefront Dermatology is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant in Bremerton, WA. The role supports dermatologists during patient visits, rooms patients, and maintains efficient operations in a fast-paced setting.

The position requires CMA/LPN/RN preferred, 1+ year medical office experience, and strong computer/EMR skills, with duties including wound care, blood draws, suture removal, and assisting with procedures.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office
• Must keep current certifications, licenses, and registrations
• Willingness to travel to other clinic locations as needed
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and EMR systems
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work well in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and documents all vital information
• Scribing information for the dermatologist
• Providing post op wound care to patients
• Drawing blood and suture removal
• Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Assisting the dermatologist with procedures such as: surgical photographs, biopsies, excisions, electrodessication and curettage, I&D, Mohs surgery, phototherapy, injections, Koh preps, Trichograms, Tzank preps, dermabrasion, patch testing, blue light

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Rooming patients and documents all vital information
• Scribing information for the dermatologist
• Providing post op wound care to patients
• Drawing blood and suture removal
• Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms
• Scheduling patient appointments

Assisting the dermatologist with procedures such as:

• Excisions
• Electrodessication and curettage
• I&D
• Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgery
• Phototherapy
• Injections
• Koh preps
• Trichograms
• Tzank preps
• Dermabrasion
• Patch testing
• Blue light

Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Post High School education in a medical support field:

Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse is strongly preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred
• Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations to continue employment
• Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems
• Must possess organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team

For this position, the base pay range is $22.00 - $25.00 per hour. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education, certification, or training.
