Qualifications

• Active CMA certification (AAMA, AMT, NHA, or equivalent) required.
• High school diploma or GED; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Record patient histories, vital signs, and chief complaints accurately in EHR/EMR.
• Prepare and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms between visits.
• Administer injections, draw blood, and perform basic lab procedures.
• Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and coordinate referrals.
• Handle prescription refills and prior authorizations under physician direction.
