Job summary
Navion of New Bern, part of Navion Senior Living, seeks Certified Medication Technicians for medication administration and caregiving in our Assisted Living community in New Bern, NC.
Join our team on 1st shift with every other weekend work; you will support residents, follow state requirements, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care staff to maintain safety and dignity.

Qualifications
- Must complete State Approved Medication Aide course.
- Certification as Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing required.
- Strong written and verbal communication in an interdisciplinary care setting.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates positive relationships with residents, families and staff.
- Promotes residents rights and treats them with dignity and respect.
- Completes in-service education and required state trainings.
- Maintains confidentiality per HIPAA.
- Documents in a clear and informative manner.
- Reports changes in condition to supervisor promptly.
- Adheres to community policies and safety procedures.
- Operates equipment safely and follows training.
- Follows infection control practices and procedures.
- Familiar with fire and emergency procedures and safety.
