Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Successful completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English in an interdisciplinary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates positive relationships with residents, families and staff.
• Administers medications and oversees resident care in accordance with state regulations.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant documentation and reporting of changes in residents’ condition.
• Participates in in-service and continuing education; follows safety and infection control procedures.
• Works within community policies and dress code; adheres to privacy and confidentiality requirements.
