Job summary

Navion Senior Living in New Bern, NC, is seeking Certified Medication Technicians for medication administration and caregiving on 2nd shift. This part-time role focuses on delivering high-quality resident care in a modern Assisted Living Community.

Responsibilities include maintaining resident rights, accurate documentation, HIPAA compliance, and teamwork with families and staff; successful candidates will complete a State Approved Medication Aide course and hold related certifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Successfully complete a State Approved Medication Aide course.
• Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Certification required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form within an interdisciplinary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a positive working relationship with residents, family members and staff.
• Promotes and protects residents rights and treats residents with dignity and respect.
• Attends in-service and education programs as required by state regulations.
• Demonstrates the ability to remain calm under stressful conditions.
