Job summary

Navion Senior Living seeks Certified Medication Technicians for medication administration and resident care oversight in a cutting-edge assisted living community in Shelby, NC. This is a part-time opportunity with 2nd and 3rd shift openings.

Ideal candidates have a State Approved Medication Aide course, an active CNA or PCAS certification, and strong communication and teamwork skills to support seniors and collaborate with a care team.

Qualifications

• Written and oral communication ability.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families and staff.
• Respect residents' rights and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality medication administration.
• Oversee resident care and safety related to medication.
• Maintain documentation accurately and promptly.
• Report changes in a resident’s condition to the supervisor.
• Attend required in-service and continuing education.
