Job summary

Monarch Communities in New Jersey is seeking a CNA with Medication Aid certification to assist with resident care and medication administration. The role requires maintaining accurate medical records under RN supervision and completing state-mandated training.

You will support residents with daily activities, ensure privacy and dignity in service delivery, and participate in ongoing training while following federal, state, and local regulations. Flexible schedule and free parking are available.

Qualifications

• Current NJ Medication Aid Certification and NJ CNA or HHA Certification are required.
• Minimum of six (6) months experience working with seniors in Assisted Living, Home Health, Hospital, or Long-Term Care.
• Must be able to lift or carry up to 50 lbs and assist residents as needed.

• Participates in and attends all in-service training as scheduled
• Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Abilities

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
• An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
