Job summary

Bluebird Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to administer medications and provide compassionate resident care under a licensed nurse’s supervision. Evening shift availability and a focus on safety are key.

The role requires Missouri CMT and CNA licenses, BLS/CPR, and strong communication in English. Prior SNF or rehab experience is preferred, with opportunity for growth in a supportive, team-based facility.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification – Missouri (Required).
• Active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license – Missouri (Required).
• BLS/CPR Certification (Required).
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written English).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and efficiently per physician orders.
• Complete medication passes within scheduled timeframes.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to the Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including PRN charting and medication records.
• Monitor medication supplies and report reorders as needed.
• Assist with drug inventory and documentation compliance.
• Follow all facility policies, safety protocols, and state regulations.
• Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and training sessions.

Position Summary
