The State of South Carolina is seeking a Lifeguard for pool supervision and safety across aquatic activities. You will monitor participants, conduct swim tests, and ensure cleanliness of pool areas while following emergency procedures.

Responsibilities include communication with staff and emergency responders, and performing duties as assigned by leadership. Requirements include current lifeguard certification (Red Cross or equivalent), CPR for Pro Rescuer, First Aid, 18+ and a high school

Formación

• Must hold current Red Cross and/or Lifeguard certification.
• Must be CPR certified for the Pro Rescuer and First Aid.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and ensure safety of all participants during pool activity.
• Administer swim tests and manage swim-safe bands.
• Maintain pool, deck and locker room cleanliness; monitor water chemistry.
• Communicate effectively with staff and emergency personnel.
• Perform tasks as directed by Director or Coordinator and lift up to 100 lbs.
