Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Maine CIPSS certification, or ability to obtain provisional certification within 9 months.
• Lived experience with mental health recovery and willingness to self-identify per Maine SAMHS requirements.
• Strong communication, organizational, advocacy, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support and encouragement to individuals on their recovery journey.
• Help members identify and build natural support systems.
• Connect members with peer resources, advocacy groups, and community services.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to support whole-person care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Participate in team meetings and other duties as assigned.
