Catholic Charities Maine in Fairfield/Augusta, ME is seeking a part-time Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist to join the Behavioral Health Network. The CIPSS coordinates and provides access to peer support services and works with clients in office, home, and community settings.

The role may require travel throughout Central Maine. Applicants must have or pursue CIPSS certification and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• The Certified Intentional Support Specialist role centers on individuals with mental illness and recovery.
• Must complete or be willing to complete CIPSS curriculum.
• Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team and maintain boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide access to peer support and peer-centered services.
• Maintain up-to-date information on area peer services and natural supports.
• Meet clients in office, homes, and community; may travel within Central Maine.
