Job summary

Andwell Health Partners in Lewiston, ME is seeking a Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist to join our behavioral health team on a full-time, weekdays schedule.

You will provide peer support, help individuals build natural networks, connect with resources, and document care as part of an interdisciplinary team. This role emphasizes lived experience and compassionate, person-centered care within a community nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Maine CIPSS certification, or ability to obtain provisional certification within 9 months.
• Lived experience with mental health recovery and willingness to self-identify per Maine SAMHS requirements.
• Strong communication, organizational, advocacy, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Strong communication, organizational, advocacy, and teamwork skills.

Schedule & Location

• Full-Time, weekday schedule.
• Office and community-based work with occasional remote opportunities.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Regular computer use, sitting, standing, walking, and occasional stair climbing.
