Job summary

Andwell Health Partners in Lewiston, Maine is seeking a Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist to provide peer support and encouragement on recovery journeys. You will help members identify natural supports, connect with peer resources and community services, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team while maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CIPSS certification or ability to obtain provisional certification through CORE training within 9 months.
• Must have lived experience with mental health recovery and be willing to self-identify per Maine SAMHS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support and encouragement to individuals on their recovery journey.
• Help members identify and build natural support systems.
• Connect members with peer resources, advocacy groups, and community services.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to support whole-person care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
