Job summary

UC Health is hiring a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician in the Outpatient Pharmacy at University of Cincinnati's Medical Center. We are also offering a $2,000 sign-on Bonus!

Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. They work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist and may perform specialized duties with initiative as needed.

Qualifications

• Recent certified, licensed or graduated within past 12 months is required.
• Current pharmacy technician registration and certification recognized by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy is required.
• Ability to perform work accurately with attention to detail and communicate effectively with staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Procures and distributes medication orders per prescriber or pharmacist requests according to policies.
• Fills orders, replenishes medications, and prepares sterile preparations safely.
• Maintains stock and ensures proper storage and documentation.
