Job summary

UC Health is hiring a full-time Medication History/Reconciliation Certified Pharmacy Technician in the Inpatient Pharmacy at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. This role supports pharmacists, collects accurate admission and discharge medication information, and helps ensure patient safety.

You will join a small team and participate in medication prep, inventory, and patient records under supervision of a pharmacist.

Qualifications

• Education: Recently certified, licensed or graduated within past 12 months, minimum required.
• License and Certification: Current pharmacy technician registration and certification recognized by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy.
• Required Skills: Ability to work accurately with attention to detail, communicate effectively, and support pharmacy staff.

Responsibilities

• Procures and distributes medication orders per prescriber request and policy.
• Fills orders, kits, carts, and stock; prepares IVs and sterile preparations under supervision.
• Maintains medication stock and inventory according to procedures.
• Documents and verifies medication storage and quality control tasks; maintains records.
