Job summary

UNC Health in Lenoir, NC seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist by reviewing, compounding and dispensing medications under supervision. The role is full time, onsite, with a 40-hour work week and pay range $18.48–$25.89 per hour.

Qualifications include NC Board of Pharmacy registration (or intern status if enrolled in PharmD), and national certification such as CPhT or ExCPT if not enrolled. Prior pharmacy technician experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compounds and prepares medications under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
• Delivers exchanged medications to patient areas and returns unused medications to the pharmacy.
• Documents pharmaceutical activities including patient billing and quality control requirements.
