Job summary

Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas is seeking an Licensed / Certified Imaging Scheduler for daytime on-site work in Beaumont, TX. The role supports physicians and technologists, handles scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and patient contact to keep imaging workflows efficient.

Ideal candidates have an imaging accreditation, relevant experience, and required licensure or certifications, including BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of imaging-specific accredited program.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Certified by the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ARRT/ARDMS/NMTCD certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide reception duties and customer service for the imaging department, maintain HIPAA policies.
• Obtain pre-certifications for diagnostic procedures from physicians’ offices.
• Facilitate communication with hospital departments and physicians’ offices to ensure imaging service utilization.
• Prepare patients for exams and maintain workflow, using infection control principles.
• Plan, organize, and direct scheduling, insurance verification, and registration in imaging.
• Provide oversight for student trainees and assist Rad students as needed.
