Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC seeks an Industrial Engineering Technician (Millwright) to maintain and repair mechanical equipment at Ft. Detrick, Maryland. The role covers HVAC, plumbing, electrical components, and a range of trades, with on-site duties and strict safety and bio-containment requirements.

The candidate will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose complex issues, fabricate parts, and support a multi-disciplinary team in a government environment. U.S.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical equipment, HVAC, plumbing and heating systems.
• Three years of multi-trade maintenance experience (sheet metal, hydraulics, pumps, wiring).
• Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain DoD SECRET clearance and BPRP status.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, doors, fans, controls, and pumps.
• Inspect machinery, diagnose issues, and disassemble/reassemble components.
• Fabricate repair parts and manage inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Document maintenance actions, trends, and reports for management.
