Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Certified HVAC Technician to provide technical support near Ft. Detrick, Maryland. The role requires ensuring HVAC/R systems operate within specifications and complying with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include testing, repairing, calibrating, and upgrading HVAC equipment and DDC controls, while coordinating with engineers and maintenance staff. Strong licensing and certification support is essential.

Qualifications

Master HVAC license or journeyman with experience to obtain Master license.
Minimum 3 years of active HVACR experience under supervision.
Maryland reciprocity with VA and DE for HVAC licenses.
EPA Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certification.
OSHA Forklift Operator Certification.
Basic QA training for maintenance/construction.

Responsabilités

Maintain mechanical equipment and HVAC/plumbing/heating systems with minimal supervision.
Receive assignments with instructions and coordinate with engineers and technicians.
Test, repair, modify, and calibrate HVAC, refrigeration, and related systems.
Program and calibrate DDC controls including Metasys and Continuum systems.
Maintain logs, ensure EPA compliance, and follow safety and SOPs.
Interpret drawings and technical manuals for air conditioning equipment and building plans.
Work in bio-containment areas and participate in related safety programs.
