Job summary

Virtual Vocations Inc. is seeking a remote, full-time Sr. Hospitalist Coder to manage staff, monitor performance, and guide coding and documentation in line with ICD-10 and regulatory guidelines.

The role includes daily coder support, issue resolution, and the development of policies and procedures to maintain quality and compliance across the coding team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; healthcare coursework preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of medical terminology and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in ICD-9, ICD-10 coding and CPT procedural coding.
• CPC or CCS-P certification preferred.
• Minimum of two years of medical coding experience, preferably in hospital medicine.

• Provide daily guidance and support to coders, addressing questions and resolving coding issues.
