Advanced Home Health & Hospice, an Excelin Company, seeks a Medical Coder experienced in OASIS coding to ensure accurate coding and Oasis completion in a Home Health setting.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, strong communication, and proficiency with EMR systems. The candidate should have experience with CMS Home Health regulations and be prepared for a dynamic environment requiring attention to detail.

Formación

• Home Health coding and OASIS review experience: 1 year.
• HCS-D and Oasis (COS-C or HCS-O) or BCHH-C.
• Some computer experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured and in good working order.

Responsabilidades

• Code and complete OASIS with accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of CMS Home Health regulations including OASIS, coding and Plan of Care requirements.
• Utilize EMR systems and Microsoft Office for documentation and communication.
• Draft clear, concise coding and documentation for reviewers and QA.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure accurate patient records and compliance.
• Adapt to changing work environment and deadlines while maintaining quality.
