Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an experienced Home Health ICD-10 Coder with OASIS review experience to support WellSky client accounts. The role focuses on ICD-10-CM coding, OASIS accuracy, documentation consistency, and compliance with Medicare and CMS requirements.

The position requires 3+ years in home health coding, strong OASIS/PDGM knowledge, and the ability to work remotely full-time. EMR experience with WellSky, Homecare Homebase, and Epic is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of recent home health coding experience.
• Strong OASIS review expertise and knowledge of PDGM.
• Credential required with current CEUs as applicable.
• Basic knowledge of Windows-based computer software.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Review records and assign accurate ICD-10-CM codes per guidelines.
• Review OASIS documentation for accuracy and consistency.
• Identify documentation opportunities.
• Review the complete medical record to support appropriate coding and reimbursement.
• Follow client/account-specific coding instructions and workflows.
• Meet established productivity and quality expectations.
• Participate in performance monitoring, quality review and education as needed.
