UMC HomeWorks, a division of United Methodist Communities, seeks Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) for New Jersey per diem shifts. Earn $17.50–$21.50 per hour, with rates varying by assignment, schedule, and weekend coverage. Day, evening, and overnight shifts available.

Provide one-on-one in-home care across multiple counties, assisting with personal care, mobility, meals, and light household tasks while collaborating with a nursing team.

About the Community
UMC HomeWorks, the home care division of United Methodist Communities, has supported older adults throughout New Jersey for more than 100 years. Our Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) provide one-on-one assistance to clients across Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Atlantic, Cape May, Salem, and Cumberland counties, helping individuals remain comfortable and supported in their home environment while working alongside an experienced nursing team.

What You'll Do

• Assist clients with daily personal care and routine activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance
• Observe client well-being and share relevant updates with members of the care team
• Help with meal planning, meal preparation, dining support, and light household organization
• Provide transportation and accompaniment for appointments, errands, and community outings as needed
• Foster positive client relationships through companionship, conversation, and participation in everyday activities

What You'll Need
Required:

• Current New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age

Preferred:

• Prior home care or caregiving experience
• $17.50–$21.50/hour, based on shift, level of care, and weekend assignment
• $500 referral bonus for CHHA hires you refer
• Mileage reimbursement between client visits
