UMC - Abundant Life for Seniors in Northern New Jersey seeks Certified Home Health Aides to join the HomeWorks team. This per diem role offers hourly pay from $20.00 to $30.75, with rates varying by assignment, scheduling, and level of support.

You will provide one-on-one in-home care, assist with daily activities, meals, and mobility, monitor wellbeing, and accompany clients to appointments. Flexible day, evening, and overnight shifts available, training and travel reimbursement offered.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to communicate in English and follow care instructions.

About the Division

UMC HomeWorks, the home care division of United Methodist Communities, has supported older adults throughout New Jersey for more than 100 years. Our Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) provide one-on-one assistance to clients across Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Sussex, Union, and Warren counties, helping individuals remain comfortable and supported in their home environmen

What you'll do

• Assist clients with daily personal care and routine activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance
• Support meal preparation, dining assistance, and light household organization
• Observe client well-being and communicate relevant updates to members of the care team
• Provide reminders related to established wellness and medication routines
• Provide transportation and accompaniment for appointments, errands, and community activities as needed
• Foster positive client relationships through companionship, conversation, and participation in everyday activities

What you'll need

Required:

• Current, active New Jersey CHHA certification
• 18 or older
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow written care instructions and documentation

Preferred:

• Previous experience providing care or support in a home or community setting

Pay and benefits

• $20.00 to $30.75 per hour, depending on shift and day of week
• Mileage reimbursement for travel between client visits
• $500 referral bonus for every CHHA you refer who gets hired
