Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in New Jersey is seeking caregivers to work one-on-one with adult clients in their homes. We offer flexible hours, including full-time, part-time, daytime, evening, and overnight shifts, with a short commute whenever possible.

Current CHHA license required, or join our daytime/evening HHA certification classes; nursing assistant conversion available. Join BAYADA and support diverse clients while enjoying weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current CHHA license in good standing with the NJ Board of Nursing.
• At least 1 year of experience as companion or CHHA.
• BAYADA hosts daytime and evening HHA certification classes, as well as CNA conversion courses every month!

Responsibilities

• Personal care: bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding.
• Ambulation / Transfers / mechanical lift devices / range of motion exercises.
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration.
• Home management: laundry, meal preparation, bed making, etc.
• Medication assistance.

Education

CHHA license in good standing (NJ Board of Nursing)

1 year experience as companion or CHHA

Pay Rate:

• Private in-home clients - $18/hr - $20/hr
• Private facility clients - $18/hr - $20/hr
