Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Home Health Aides (HHAs/CHHAs) in New Jersey. You will provide compassionate one-on-one care in clients' homes under the supervision of a registered nurse, with training opportunities and support from a nationwide organization.

We offer flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and benefits including scholarship programs and 24/7 staff support. CHHA/HHA credentials and the ability to travel to client homes are valued.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and dependable caregiving approach.
• Willingness to travel to clients' homes as assigned.
• Training may be available for qualified candidates.
• Experience in home health care or patient care welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care based on a written plan of care under RN direction.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing and hygiene.
• Meal preparation and feeding; medication reminders.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and other tasks.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and ROM exercises.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

What You'll Do

As a BAYADA Home Health Aide, you'll provide compassionate one-on-one care based on a written plan of care under the direction of a registered nurse.

• Range-of-motion exercises
• Vital sign checks
• Companionship and emotional support
• Helping clients maintain their independence at home

Previous home health care or patient care experience is welcome, but not always required. Training may be available for qualified candidates.

For Experienced CHHAs

• A current CHHA/HHA credential in good standing with the New Jersey Board of Nursing
• Previous caregiving or home health experience, when required for the position
