Job summary

A healthcare provider is looking for a Certified Home Health Aide-CHHA in Edison, NJ. In this role, you will be vital in assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and hygiene while adhering to healthcare guidelines. The position offers per diem opportunities with the flexibility of choosing daily payment. Full-time employees enjoy health benefits, dental, vision, and PTO. Candidates must have a high school diploma and an active NJ CHHA certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must possess an Active NJ CHHA certification.
• Experience in long term care, though preferred, is not mandatory.
• Perform ADLs including bathing, dressing, serving meals, feeding, ambulating, turning, and positioning.
• Maintain clean living conditions for resident.
• Perform duties per local/state/federal guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by Unit Manager, Director of Nursing and Administrator.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group.

Certified Home Health Aide-CHHA Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have an Active NJ (CHHA) Certified Home Health Aide certification
• Previous long term care experience is preferred but not required
• Perform ADLs including but not limited to bathing, dressing, serving meals, feeding, ambulating, turning, and positioning
• Maintain clean living conditions for resident
• Perform all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
• Other duties as assigned by Unit Manager, Director of Nursing and Administrator
• Ability to work independently or part of a group
