Senior Helpers is seeking caring caregivers to provide in-home support to seniors in New Jersey. As a team member, you will deliver personal care, companionship, and daily living assistance, helping clients stay in their homes with dignity.

Requirements include a NJ-certified HHA or CNA, a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation, and successful completion of a TB test and background check. Flexible scheduling and training opportunities are highlighted benefits.

Formación

• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.
• PPD TB test required by NJ law.

Responsabilidades

• Delivering exceptional care to clients.
• Provide companionship and stay engaged with clients and families.
• Assist with personal care activities (hygiene, mobility, continence care, light housekeeping, meals).
• Complete daily tasks safely and professionally (ADLs).
• Collaborate with client’s care team to report health changes.
• Document task completion and report changes in client condition or behavior.

Qualifications:

• A genuine desire to assist others and improve their quality of life.
• Compassionate, patient, and understanding of the needs of our clients.
• CertifiedHHA or CNA in the State of New Jersey (REQUIRED).
• A valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.
• PPD test (skin test for TB per NJ Law).
• Must complete abackground check screening.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering exceptional care to our clients.
• Supply personal companionship, remaining actively engaged with each client and their families.
• Assist with personal care activities to include personal hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding and meal preparation.
• Complete all daily tasks in a safe and professional manner (ADLs).
• Collaborate with client’s care team to provide client updates and important health changes.
• Administrative functions such as documentation of completion of tasks and reporting changes in the client’s physical condition, mental capability, or behavior.

In the simplest terms, a caregiver is a person who provides care for another. When it comes to our team, caregivers play a vital role. They make a direct impact in providing care to seniors who wish to age in the safety and comfort of their home instead of an assisted living facility, an independent living facility, a senior living community, or a nursing home.

Every client will have different needs that they require assistance with, but we make sure to match our clients and caregivers for the optimal fit. Care provided could include ADLs such as grooming, eating, walking, bathing, and other self-care tasks. It could also include assisting with fun hobbies and games that a client enjoys.
