Senior Helpers is urgently hiring in Roselle Park, NJ to provide compassionate in-home care for seniors in their own homes. You will deliver companionship, assist with ADLs, mobility, meal prep, light housekeeping, and collaborate with the care team to update families on health and progress.

We offer flexible scheduling, competitive pay based on experience, PPE supplied, and opportunities for specialized training and certifications.

Formación

• CertifiedHHA or CNA in the State of New Jersey is REQUIRED.
• A valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.
• PPD test (TB) in accordance with NJ Law.
• Must complete a background check screening.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver exceptional care to our clients.
• Provide personal companionship and remain actively engaged with each client and their family.
• Assist with personal care activities including hygiene, mobility, incontinence care, light housekeeping, meals and meal preparation.
• Complete daily tasks in a safe and professional manner (ADLs).
• Collaborate with the client’s care team to provide updates and note health changes.
• Document completion of tasks and report changes in physical or mental status.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering exceptional care to our clients.
• Supply personal companionship, remaining actively engaged with each client and their families.
• Assist with personal care activities to include personal hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding and meal preparation.

• Administrative functions such as documentation of completion of tasks and reporting changes in the client’s physical condition, mental capability, or behavior.

Qualifications:

• A genuine desire to assist others and improve their quality of life.
• Compassionate, patient, and understanding of the needs of our clients.
• CertifiedHHA or CNA in the State of New Jersey (REQUIRED).
• A valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.
• PPD test (skin test for TB per NJ Law).
• Must complete a background check screening.

Care provided could include ADLs such as grooming, eating, walking, bathing, and other self-care tasks. It could also include assisting with fun hobbies and games that a client enjoys.
