Job summary

Senior Helpers - Bryan is seeking caring caregivers to provide in-home support to seniors in New Jersey. The role focuses on compassionate companionship, personal care, and helping clients age with dignity in the comfort of their own homes.

Qualified applicants must hold a NJ HHA or CNA certification, have a valid driver's license, and pass TB screening and background checks. Flexible scheduling and opportunities for training are offered to support professional growth.

Qualifications

• A genuine desire to assist others and improve quality of life.
• CertifiedHHA or CNA in New Jersey (REQUIRED).
• Valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.
• PPD test (TB screening) per NJ law.
• Background check screening required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional care to clients.
• Provide personal companionship and stay engaged with clients and families.
• Assist with activities of daily living including hygiene, mobility, incontinence care, light housekeeping, meals.
• Complete daily tasks safely and professionally (ADLs).
• Collaborate with client’s care team and provide updates on health changes.
• Document completion of tasks and report changes in condition or behavior.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering exceptional care to our clients.
• Supply personal companionship, remaining actively engaged with each client and their families.
• Assist with personal care activities to include personal hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding and meal preparation.
• Complete all daily tasks in a safe and professional manner (ADLs).
• Collaborate with client’s care team to provide client updates and important health changes.
• Administrative functions such as documentation of completion of tasks and reporting changes in the client’s physical condition, mental capability, or behavior.

Qualifications:

• Compassionate, patient, and understanding of the needs of our clients.
• CertifiedHHA or CNA in the State of New Jersey (REQUIRED).
• A valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.
• PPD test (skin test for TB per NJ Law).

Care provided could include ADLs such as grooming, eating, walking, bathing, and other self-care tasks. It could also include assisting with fun hobbies and games that a client enjoys.
