A Place at Home East Brunswick is hiring Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to provide one-on-one in-home care for seniors in East Brunswick and nearby Middlesex County communities. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, meals, and companionship while following individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey CHHA certification required.
• Previous caregiving, home care, home health, or senior care experience preferred.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Compassionate and patient.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to complete required onboarding and documentation.
• Reliable transportation preferred for applicable assignments.

We're hiring Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) for hourly and live-in home care opportunities throughout East Brunswick and surrounding Middlesex County communities.

About the Role

As a Certified Home Health Aide, you'll provide one-on-one care that helps seniors and other clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Your responsibilities may include:

• Personal care and assistance with ADLs
• Bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance
• Mobility and transfer assistance
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Companionship and conversation
• Medication reminders, as permitted by applicable regulations
• Accompanying clients to appointments and errands when applicable
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition
• Following individualized care plans
• Maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
