Job summary

Caring Hospice Services is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for day shift. This mobile role involves traveling to patients in homes and facilities in Philadelphia and surrounding counties, providing compassionate care and support.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, helping with bathing, dressing and grooming, and supporting mobility with safe lifting and transfers. A CNA or Hospice Aide certification is required, with a focus on infection control and patient

Qualifications

This is a mobile position in the field. The position requires a reliable vehicle and travel to patients in facilities in Philadelphia and surrounding counties.

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate care and assistance to hospice patients in their homes or care facilities
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with physical examinations under the direction of healthcare professionals
• Support patients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Qualification:

• Certification as a Hospice Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical office procedures - Experience in providing care for patients in various settings
• Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families - Knowledge of infection control procedures and safety protocols - Physical ability to lift and move patients safely
• Expected hours: 40 per week
